Mediation - The Missing Piece

Professional

Sally was a Kitsap County Superior Court Judge for 19 years; between 2005 – 2023.

Prior to her appointment to the Superior Court bench by Gov. Gary Locke, Sally practiced law from 1986 – 2004 with the King County Deputy Prosecutor’s office among other law appointments.

Sally graduated from McGeorge Law School; where her Constitution Law professor was Anthony Kennedy (who later became a United State Supreme Court Justice). She also was a White House Intern before passing the Bar exam.

Years ago, Sally began mediating as an intern with Kitsap Dispute Resolution Center. After her bench appointment, she took several week-long mediation trainings at the National Judicial College. During her 19 years on the bench, she has successfully settled hundreds of settlement conferences – helping litigants to avoid the cost and risk of a trial.

It’s no wonder why Gov. Locke appointed her; nor why she has been re-elected to serve our community five times. The Kitsap County attorneys loved to have  Judge Sally as their Settlement Conference Judge. They know that she has the knowledge, experience, skill, gravitas and desire to work hard to help their clients fairly settle.

The Olsen Mediation Services is proud to see Sally join the firm put her mediation and negotiation skills to work for you!
